I'm a bit quiet at first but hand me a camera and something shifts. Suddenly I'm your personal hype girl, fully committed to making you laugh, relax, and feel like yourself in front of the lens. That part comes naturally to me because I know how vulnerable it can feel to be photographed. Motherhood came to me after a long journey of infertility, and that road made me fall even more deeply in love with this season of life. My son is my world. I've been with my incredibly supportive husband for over eight years, and together we're navigating the beautiful chaos of raising this little guy alongside Kiwi, our giant fluffy Alaskan Malamute. Life before our little guy meant backcountry backpacking and lots of traveling abroad. Life now means local trails, dog hair on all of the things, and overpacking for every single vacation. I love being outside in nature just as much as I love getting dressed up for a good date night. It's all about balance.
